vegan/fish meals prepared upon request.

Colina Flora believes in being as "green" as
possible by using energy-efficient appliances,
environmentally safe cleaning supplies, filtered
well water, and by recycling, composting, by
maintaining an organic garden and a low-chemical
swimming pool. We hang laundry to dry. We support small local shops and regional organic farmers.  As members of Slow Food  (www.slowfood.com), we believe that good, clean and fairly produced
foods should be available to everyone. We strive
to prepare wonderful meals with seasonal and
local ingredients.  Most of the ingredients for
our meals are organic.  All of our  towels, slipper, bathrobes and most of our sheets are made from organic cotton.

Colina Flora is in the small  rural hamlet of
Pé da Serra, between the quaint moorish villages of
Almoçageme and Penedo, which are part of the
municipality of Colares, in the heart of the Sintra
Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a
5-minute drive to pristine beaches, 16-minute drive to
the historic and cultural centers of Sintra & Cascais,
and only 40-minutes to the bustling downtown of
Lisbon and its international airport.
